Visit and tasting in a winery of Chinon

Discovery of an emblematic French wine.

Winemakers for generations, father and son have imposed a style through their research on the typicality of terroirs. The vineyard covers 17 hectares, from the plateaus of clay and silica of Saint Louans, family birthplace since the fifteenth century, to the limestone slopes of the appellation. The property produces 4 different red wines of Chinon, a rosé and a white Chinon wine.

The winery is half buried and covered with vines to the roof. It is closed up by a window which allows to see the 28 stainless steel vats and have a view on the work in the winery. The red elliptical tasting room of 200m 2 was thought to offer a welcoming and comfortable area for wine tasting.

The activity includes:

** 1 commented visit in French or in English of the VAT room and wine making process explanations.
